The reason they tell you to charge it before using it the first time is because the battery very likely has little charge. They dont want you returning it just because you never charged the battery. Or if you only charged it for an hour. So charge it first.brbrBut, if you dont, and it does have some charge that it works, its NOT going to shorten your batterys life. It just wont last as long as a fullycharged battery will before needing to be charged. So youre going to have to charge it sooner or later. Electricity and water dont mix well. You probaby will not get it to work. What may be possible is to take the SIM card out and put it into your new phone. brbrBut as the other answer said, you could try pulling the phone case apart so it will dry out.

Take the battery off and remove whatever parts you can from the phone battery cover, antenna.. and let it dry. You can leave it outdoors, but not in direct sunlight you dont want to cook the phone, you just want it to dry. Turn it over every couple of hours so the water cant settle in one area. Let if fully dry, it may take a day or two.brbrIf that doesnt work, I am afraid you are out of luck. It is also very possible that something may have shorted out when it fell into the creek. brbrGood luck!

No, your phone is not gone yet all you need to do is take it apart again cover it in rice dont mess with it for a couple days the uncooked rice with absorb the moisture. This has personly saved me laptops and phones. Dont listen to the other people setting it in the sun and blow drying it with damage your phone even more.

Let it dry for a bit Id say a day or so to be safe before trying to turn it on again. That way, any water that may have gotten inside will have evaporated and wont fry the circuitry when you turn it on. If you played it and nothing happened then nothing is wrong with the ipods internal features. Look at the screen and see that there are no dark bars or cracks. It should be fine.

Well you should have not turned it on, it might be fried now. Also did you have insurance on the phone?? If you did you might be able to get a new one for !! Anyways here is what you do take the battery and memory card out and get a bowl of regular uncooked rice not instant and put your phone in the bowl of rice and just leave it your phone sit in the bowl of rice for a week and then buy a new cell phone battery and put it in and see if your phone works. The rice should draw the water from the inside of your phone!! Dont put the old battery or memory card back in. If it works great if not your phone is fried and you will need to get a new one!!

open it up as much as you can and put it under a light bulb about foot from it overnight. You shouldnt have charged it until the morning. Believe it or not, Ive actually had this happen to me a couple of times. The first time I dropped it in a lake and had to swim down feet or so to retrieve it. The second time I was fishing for striped bass on Block Island, and was in the water up to my waist. I forgot that I had my cell phone attached to my belt.brbrIn both cases yes, even with the salt water from the ocean I was able to salvage the phone. The first thing to do is remove the battery from the phone. Also, remove the antenna, as water can be trapped in there as well. Then wipe all parts of the phone with a dry cloth. Now lay the parts out with the phone upright so that water can drain out of it. After a few days of drying, reassemble the phone, and it should work.brbrBest of luck.

Both have benefits as far as exercise go. Go for the ps. Every one keeps moaning about the price of the ps, and saying things like get the xbox and then wait and see. etc. I really dont see the logic to this.
