Question
I dropped my cell phone in water almost hrs ago and it still wont turn on...any advice???
It was only in the water for about seconds but I didnt dry it off immediatly bc I had somewhere to be so it sat for about one hour after dropping it. When I got home I dryed it with a towel then hrs later I took a blow dryer to it. I also kept it on the charger all night

open it up as much as you can and put it under a light bulb about foot from it overnight. You shouldnt have charged it until the morning. You might have fried it already, im sorry to say. brbrAdded note. Do not listen to those who say you definately need a new phone. I was pushed into a pool twice with my cell in my pocket. Got out and it was all waterlogged. Both times i did what i suggested said above, the only difference is that I didnt even attempt to charge it or turn it on for at least hours
